In this quick tutorial I take a look at a stitched cobra knot bracelet.
The design reminded me of a trilobite bracelet, but as you will see, the bracelet has two distinct looks and can be worn on either side. It still amazes me how a little touch like a bit of stitching can make an entirely new look of a bracelet. This design was shown by BRett Yulich in one of the Facebook groups. He made a rifle sling with it, but I liked the idea and design so much I told him, I am trying it :).
So, let’s make one!
Supplies
To make this bracelet you will need:
- paracord in two colors (in my case neon orange and black)
- a lacing needle (you can make your own lacing needle using this tutorial)
- a buckle
- scissors
- lighter

The bracelet can be worn on either side.
The tutorial
Start off by tying a regular, two color cobra knot bracelet. I used neon for the core and black and neon for the outer part. I attached the paracord to the buckle, then started to tie. When done, it was time to attach the needle to a piece of black paracord and start stitching. The stitching part is demonstrated in the images below, but basically it is a spiral stitch that goes through the cobra knots. Once both sides are done, so is the bracelet.

This is how the bracelet is made:
