Let’s see how to make a snake knot paracord bracelet.
Another one of the classics is the snake knot bracelet. Unlike many paracord bracelets it has a round design. It is also not as bulky, which some, who prefer thinner bracelets will find appealing. Lastly, it is made in a fairly unique way, which I will demonstrate below.
Mastering the snake knot will provide you with a useful knot you can use in many projects.
- Difficulty: medium
- Cord storage: medium
- Child friendly: no
Supplies required
- paracord 550
- a source of heat to melt the ends with (a lighter works just fine)
- something to cut the cord
A bracelet jig is not needed for this one.
How to make a snake knot paracord bracelet
The bracelet is made using a fairly unique technique. It is best explained through image (below). When done, pull all the knots in the the bracelet to get a tighter look (as seen in the tutorial). If possible, I recommend that you try to integrate the part where the cords are connected into the bracelet’s core to increase its durability and making it look nicer. I used the diamond knot to finish the bracelet.

Another well-explained tutorial (see my comment on the Sawtooth weave). Love the pictures and the written instructions. Thank you.
